DAY 1: MILNGAVIE - DRYMEN

So, there we were in Milngavie, in the rain, and all set for our a rain-soaked walk after our hearty cooked breakfast. But... it wasn't! We've had great weather so far, and especially when when got to Glengoyne Distillery at lunchtime.  We stopped there briefly but continued on for FOOOOD! (fuel, really), when Sam met a new friend who was very partial to his dried banana. 

We were almost at Drymen (Gartness) when we met little Tim the dog, his siblings, and Mum & Dad. When we got to Drymen we were ready for dinner, so headed to The Clachan for traditional Scottish fayre of pizza and curry. Then we went back to Annexe Lodge for a cuppa, a few drinks and... hot tub!
